Many of the optical systems we design eventually wind up in products. As a full service organization, we know how difficult it can be sourcing and working with multiple vendors. Our optical systems can be designed into production environments by our product development engineers and industrial designers.
The images shown here represent only a small part of the process but give a good indication on what your
product can look like when Industrial Designers begin their process. Starting with sketches for a conceptual
look for the product, moving to physical models for a real-world feel, the designers will eventually produce
working drawings and computer models that appear as the actual product would.
Artisans and engineers melded together to create the look and feel for your product. Experience and
knowledge to produce parts in quantity, cost effectively, from injection molding to final assembly. No detail of the process is not reviewed and given thought in a design-for-manufacture effort. Using rapid prototyping
techniques gives the customer a sense of what the product will look like and how it will behave in production, as working units can be produced in small quantities that are representative of the final product.
Though we often participate in early stage products, we have experience, capabilities, and industry contacts to see development through to production. If you have an optical based product ready to move to pre-production or production contact Opticology.
